experienced first-hand how <strong>manual processes<\/strong> can slow down operations, even in a tech-driven organization.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This blog shares how we transformed a time-consuming, manual HR task into a streamlined, <strong>automated workflow process<\/strong>\u2014using the power of <strong>Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and SharePoint<\/strong>\u2014and how you can do it too.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udea7 The Challenge: Manual Processes in a Digital World<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>HR operations often involve <strong>business process workflows<\/strong> like collecting employee or intern data, storing documents, and maintaining compliance records.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what our <strong>manual workflow<\/strong> used to look like:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sending repeated emails to collect details&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Getting data in inconsistent formats&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manually creating and organizing folders in SharePoint&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Risk of data loss, human errors, and wasted time&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, our <strong>work process automation<\/strong> was missing\u2014and it was hurting productivity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2705 The Automation Solution: Workflow Automation at Work<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We implemented a <strong>workflow automation process<\/strong> to solve this common yet frustrating issue using tools already in our ecosystem:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Step 1: Microsoft Forms for Data Collection<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We created a standardized Teams Form\u2014our single interface to collect structured data from:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Interns&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full-time employees&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This eliminated the need for back-and-forth follow-ups and reduced human error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"936\" height=\"570\" trigger that:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Detects every form submission&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automatically creates folders in <strong>SharePoint<\/strong>, sorted by:&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Type: Employee or Intern&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Subfolder: Name + Toolfe ID&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The entire process\u2014from data entry to storage\u2014became an <strong>automated business workflow<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
